My wife's has a large loan. Many years ago we refinanced not knowing that doing so stopped any benefits given to federal student loans. This has been crippling and has cost a great deal of money and has severely damaged our plans for our family and future.

I'm not sure what I can do at this point but I wonder if anyone else is in the same situation we're in and if so is there any way to help our situation.
