As the C.F.P.B. is tasked with finalizing the rules for forgiveness, what issues are they tackling exactly?  How can this process be monitored as it progresses?  What are we to expect?  Please do elaborate on any information that any of you have been able to gather.  Happy New Year!

Not quite sure what you mean - can you clarify? Are you talking about finalizing the PSLF loan forgiveness process?

Yes-the rules for forgiveness.

Not worried for borrowers currently enrolled in the program or expecting forgiveness soon. However, there could be major changes coming to PSLF and income driven repayment plans given the new President.

Remember, the CFPB doesn't decide any of this. Congress does - and that's why there could be changes.
