employment after 20 years

My loan was forgiven due to a disability. The original terms were that the loan re-activates if I begin work. Is that still true even after 20 years?

I believe that there is a 3 year monitoring period for TPD Discharge with the SSA and your Doctor. However, the monitoring period for VA service-related TPD has no time limit.

Do loans re-activate after forgiveness if you return to work part-time through the SSDI NTI work-at-home program?

There is a monitoring period after your discharge and depending on your terms, it could.
