I have been talking to a man who claims to be a self owned private lender. I have been forced to send constant late fees and processing fees and have sent over 370$. He even requested that I send a 50$ iTunes cards and western union to a state and named marked other then the signature on his texts. on two separate occasions as a "stamp" for the bank to see that the fee was paid. Am I being scammed and what can I do about it?

Hi Ozzy,

No lender would accept iTunes cards as payment. This is something you should be very concerned about.

Did you talk to this person? Do you have a loan with this person? Why would you think you owe this person money? Why do you continue to pay something you don't necessarily owe?

He kept saying that they were processing fees

You should find out about the debt you owe - not about the processing fees. Do you owe money to someone? Did you ever take out a loan? You would know that.

Ask for proof of the debt...in writing if you feel it's necessary.
