I was called (by someone I thought was from US Dept of Ed) to be notified that under the US Dept of Education that I had qualified for student loan forgiveness. They went through the https://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds/nslds_SA/ website and through studentloans.gov to see what I qualified for.  They said my loan payments would go down to $141/month.  They had a sign up fee of $599 and monthly fee of $39, but I would end up wit $10k in loan forgiveness at the end of 268 months. It seemed legit because of the sites they navigated through.  I was going to pay the first fee payment this week, but my bank denied the charge.  That's when I decided to cancel. Not sure if everything was actually cancelled. Probably not. Glad I stumbled upon this site!

Glad our resources helped you. It's sad that they do it for you on the phone and then charge $599 for it. It's that easy that you can do it yourself online.
